A bronze
that respects your skin.

Your skin has earned a softer hand. We lead with hydration, choose a formula that reads as your own complexion, and write the aftercare in the language of comfort — not rules.

Why The Protocol Adapts

Hydration is the protocol.

A few small shifts in how skin behaves after a certain decade. Quiet. Kind to know. Easy to plan for.

i.

A softer canvas

Your skin is thinner, gentler, more responsive than it used to be. We slow the formula down and shorten the rinse window so the bronze stays light, warm, and forgiving.

ii.

Hydration is the difference

Dewy skin wears bronze beautifully; thirsty skin doesn't. We lead every Mature session with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide — actives that read as kindness on day three.

iii.

Pat, never rub

The smallest change to your towel ritual is the one that matters most. We'll walk you through it at the door — and write it on the card you take home.

The 5-Day Schedule

Five gentle days. All hydration.

The schedule is short. The first two days do most of the work — a little water, a little quiet, and the rest goes easily.

5 Days Out

Begin gentle hydration

Sixty-four ounces of water daily, more if you can. Electrolytes in the morning. Your skin and your hydration speak the same language — give it a few days, and the surface shows up softer for it.

4 Days Out

Pause your actives

Retinol, tretinoin, glycolic, lactic, salicylic, mandelic, vitamin C, bakuchiol — anything labeled "resurfacing" can rest until after your session. Keep your moisturizer and SPF.

3 Days Out

A hyaluronic layer

Bring a hyaluronic acid serum into your routine, morning and night, across the body — face, neck, décolletage, hands. (Any pharmacy carries lovely ones; we're happy to suggest favorites.) This is the single biggest thing you can do for your finish.

24 Hours Out

A soft exfoliation

A washcloth, a gentle pH-neutral cleanser. No grit, no enzymes. Be a touch more attentive at elbows, knees, the back of the heel. Moisturize right after — and again before bed.

The Morning

Arrive bare

Clean skin, no SPF, no makeup below the jaw. Hair tied back, loose dark layers, no perfume or deodorant (both will react). We'll greet you, sit you down, and walk you through every step. Ninety unhurried minutes.

4–6 Hours

A gentle rinse

Unity NR rinses earlier than the bridal formula. Lukewarm water, no soap. Pat with a dark towel, then a soft body moisturizer to lock everything in.

Days 2 – 7

Pat, never rub

Moisturize twice a day. Mineral SPF in the morning. Hands moisturized after every wash. Skip the exfoliating cleansers for the week. Your color reads richest on day three and stays soft through day seven.

Day-Of Aftercare

The week, written kindly.

Two short lists — the "with you" column, and the "save for later" one. Both are quiet, neither requires anything dramatic.

✓ With You, Through The Week
  • Hyaluronic serum morning and night, face and body
  • Lukewarm water — over the bronze and on your face
  • Mineral SPF every morning, indoor days included
  • A soft, oil-free, fragrance-free body moisturizer twice a day
  • Pat dry — never rub, never twist a towel
  • Steady water through the day; electrolytes around noon
✗ Save For Later
  • Retinol, retinaldehyde, tretinoin — anywhere on the body
  • Glycolic, lactic, salicylic, mandelic acids
  • Vitamin C serums (acidic; lift the bronze)
  • Exfoliating washcloths, gloves, konjac sponges
  • Long hot showers, hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas
  • Bar soap — a sulfate-free body wash is friendlier

I'm fifty-four. My skin asks for kindness. We began with twenty minutes about hydration and ended with a card I have taped to the mirror. The color is the lovely thing — but the care is what brought me back.
